Tara was born to be an entertainer. Originally from Connecticut, she began her radio and voice over career in 1991, taking the experiences of her life to different communities in her home state, Florida, Indiana, Vermont (including upstate New York and Montreal), South Carolina and now New Hampshire where she could be heard on 105.5 JYY (WJYY Concord/Manchester and the Lakes Region) Monday through Saturday from 6am to 10am.
An advocate for women and children, Tara enjoys working with National organizations like the American Heart Association, Go Red For Women, the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, March For Babies, and The Boys and Girls Club.
Tara is considered an inspiration to many, as a career woman, and a mother. She has been featured in articles about powerful women and enjoys being a motivational speaker for groups of all sizes. Her primary focus currently is speaking openly about her own struggle with mental illness and addiction, and her own journey in recovery.
As a National Voice Over Artist , Tara specializes in recording automated voice mail systems for corporations nationwide.
Her biggest job though, is as a wife and mother. Tara shares her life with her husband, Douglas, their children, a puppy named Edelman, and two cats, Whisky and Tonic. A New Englander through and through, she is a huge Patriots fan.
